Provide daily administrative direction, work-in-progress review, oversight and guidance for daily activities for each Maintenance section (Airfield, Fleet, Parks, Facilities, Custodial)• Plan, organize and oversee the overall operations of the Airport Maintenance Division (Airfield, Fleet, Facilities, Custodial and Parks) including FAA Certification compliance.• Analyze and recommend the purchasing of all Maintenance Section new or replacement equipment, evaluates and makes recommendations for service and supply bid proposals, communicates with vendors regarding services and supplies for Maintenance Section needs, approves invoices, reviews monthly expenses and budget variances, communicates with Accounting and vendors when invoicing credits or when error difficulties arise• Oversee the preventative maintenance and inspection program for runways, taxiways, parking lots, markings, signage, mobile equipment, landscaping, adjacent airport properties, etc.• Plan, organize, recommend and oversee yearly, monthly, budget process for the Airport Maintenance Division (Airfield, Fleet, Facilities, Custodial and Parks)• Oversee Airport fleet and equipment assignments, locations, and usage, make recommendations for changes when appropriate, oversee adjacent property maintenance• Perform employee evaluations, review employee evaluations and resolve other personnel issues, develop employees’ managerial skills, monitoring productivity and efficiency, oversee the Maintenance Division's worker protection and training compliance programs, oversees fleet emission reduction and fuel conservation programs• Insures compliance with FAA regulations involving Airport Maintenance.
