My career in the military has taught me to thrive under pressure, to recognize the value of assembling a diverse team, to lead with honor, and to act decisively. As a pilot, I am particularly adept at remaining calm and clear-headed in times of crisis, and focus on advancing toward the end goal. Some of the accomplishments of which I am most proud include the following:• Managed operations of airports and air force bases to ensure streamlined processes, effective and motivated teams, and compliance with civilian and military regulations and guidelines. • Modernized and automated data storage and training systems to enable flight and ground operations. • Trained numerous crews in the successful operation of manned and unmanned aircraft, and command and control assets.• Lead diverse teams in development and execution of large scale emergency management exercises.• Chief pilot for large aircraft program and initial cadre for a large Group 5 unmanned aerial vehicle.• Proven leadership in the test, test support, VIP airlift, training, cargo, air refueling, ISR and command/control enterprise.• Authored processes to ensure safe military, commercial and civil operation in complex airspace. I combine a technical understanding of aviation with strategic business acumen to solve problems with military precision. I am excited about the next phase of my career, transferring my knowledge and skills to the civilian sector.
