I've worked in facilities maintenance for almost 35 years. From 2007 to 2012 I worked closely with a general contractor and sub-contractors on the physical and mechanical systems remodel of two buildings on our campus (350,000 and 100,000 square foot buildings). During the remodels, I coordinated multiple moves of 200+ employees within our facilities with zero down.In early 2013, I was selected for a six-month developmental opportunity in our auto claims department as an Auto Estimatics Inspector. Following training and licensing, I worked independently completing auto physical damage estimates on vehicles located at tow facilities, repair facilities, dealerships, and customer locations. Due to changes in our claims department structure, I was unable to secure a full-time estimator position, and returned to my facilities tech job in July 2013. I look forward to continuing my career in insurance claims when an opportunity presents itself.
