I bring a lot of value to my projects. I believe in leading by example and lifting others up and empowering them to contribute and succeed. This philosophy carries throughout my life whether it’s a complex IT project, planning a charity event, or organizing a team.I have extensive experience leading, managing, and developing projects. I have a proven success record architecting and developing home grown financial applications that saved my employer millions of dollars. When I first relocated to Cincinnati my employer wanted to roll out a customer profitability application. They selected and purchased a customer profitability application for $1.5 million. After a year of struggle it was determined this product could not scale to the volume of customer data we had and would have to be scrapped or purchase something from yet another vendor. I test developed several pieces for a home grown solution and then lobbied my managers and the head of finance that I felt confident I could built a replacement all by myself. I was given the “go” and in a year’s time I custom developed a Customer Profitability data driven website and also Admin website for building the data that was rolled out to over 350 users nationwide and saved our company over $1 million dollars.I demonstrate complimentary leadership skills in my role as president of a local nonprofit, helping to organize events for several charities, and in my projects that involve forming and leading teams for charity events. I have been recognized for my abilities to communicate ideas across organizational boundaries, overcome negativity, and transform strategies into measurable and effective actions.Delivering effective solutions to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve sustainability has been a key focus of my career. Some of my other strengths include logic flow, database queries and analysis, team building, and bringing diverse groups together for common goals.On a personal note I am caring, giving, loyal, and trustworthy. I created an MS Bike team at xpedx and grew that to a nationwide group of teams and had eight members of senior leadership on my teams and in seven years we raised over half a million dollars for the National MS Society.
