In this role I promote a line of goods manufactured by BLY in the southeast U.S., and market the Sonic Drills and Sonic Tooling product line throughout the U.S. I also develop new contacts and strengthen existing relationships to develop a diversified client base for additional business in an evolving market. I communicate with key accounts in an effort to forecast annual sales.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

I provided operational oversight and full P&L responsibility of Sonic drilling activities in the U.S. and Mexico to include annual budget development and inventory management. I collaborated with senior management to craft strategic action plans defining the company’s mission while also increasing operational and project performance of both divisions. I also reviewed safety policies and incidents, monitored production and utilization metrics, and disseminated internal and external communications. I participated in projects performing tasks such as preparing formal drilling services proposals, planning schedules and timelines, and communicating with new and existing customers to gauge performance. My achievements include:• Served as operational technical resource for all Sonic drilling offices globally. • Restructured office locations, management, and job duties, slashing costs while increasing margins. • Implemented bonus program for field staff based on project profitability, resulting in a rise in gross margins.• Created transparency program which shared safety, and daily productivity and objective targets for field staff.• Effectively advised management regarding departmental structures, logistics, and budgets.

Phoenix, Arizona Area

In this capacity, I managed the operation of 25 drilling rigs within the southwest U.S. and Mexico to include P&L administration, equipment utilization, and business development activities. I led teams of departmental supervisors and managers located throughout multiple offices and facilities within the region, as well as 125 field employees and their direct reports. I participated in strategic planning sessions to assist with development of annual budgets, short-term operating objectives, and long-term strategic initiatives. I also recruited, trained, and mentored management and office staff in departments such as business development. My achievements include:• Steered successful merging of two separate operating territories into one zone.• Produced in excess of $25MM in annual revenue for the organization.• Implemented target clientele and markets, growing revenue by 25% during tenure.• Relocated offices and key employees leading to cost reductions, margin gains, and market expansion.
