· Responsible for maintenance for the facilities equipment including Ingersoll-Rand 100 HP screw compressors, Ingersoll-Rand air dryers, Carrier chillers, Carrier roof-top AC units & Carrier Comfort Network and energy management system (load shedding), cooling water pumps and cooling towers, General Electric switch boards, bus ducts and electrical distribution system. Calculate correct size and install all types of transformers – 480V delta-208V wye 3-phase, 480v delta-240V delta, buck-boost 208V-230V single phase. Cat-5 wiring for computer network and telephone system. I keep up-to-date drawings of facility single line wiring diagrams, piping and structure changes with AutoCad.· Supervise ten maintenance technicians, which include training, developing and coaching them so that they can achieve their maximum level of independence and be self-starters. Ensure that all techs follow safety rules including lockout/tagout procedures.· .· Oversee the operation of Hella’s wastewater plant.· Responsible for plant safety systems: fire system riser and sprinkler inspections, fire pump inspection and flow test, Simplex fire alarm inspections, backflow valve testing, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, Co2 systems testing.· · Work regularly with our Operational Excellence Team to reduce scarp and develop ways to make process run more efficiently. Hella has achieved our goal for six months in a row of a target kpi of 4.8% scrap. September’s actual scarp kpi is 4.1%. The maintenance department’s involvement in this effort was realized by forming a rapid response team to assist the Production Engineering department in solving quality problems in injection molding and by closely following the molding PM maintenance plan

CR is now owned by SKF Bearings. Maintenance and repair on Bipel compression molding machines, Quincy air compressors, oil seal assembly machines, metal stamping machines, Barwell rubber extruders, and various computer controlled metal cleaning machines. Programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley and Idec PLCs.· Responsible for preventive maintenance system using MP2 software from DataStream. This also included the control of all spare parts using MP2’s inventory module.
