I spent 32 years (and 5 days) working in for Hughes/Boeing in the flight and controls department before I took an early retirement. During that time I worked on spacecraft guidance and control, spacecraft autonomy, and spacecraft operations for both commercial and government customers on classified and unclassified programs. I retired with the title of Chief Engineer, which, in my experience, was a better title than it was a job. As of June, 2021, I joined the consulting firm Cutting Edge Communications, and am back at Boeing (and others) doing some part-time consulting. And in Fall of 2022 I had an opportunity to teach a graduate level Guidance and Control Systems Engineering course at Loyola Marymount University! (And I've got the LMU Faculty ID card to prove it!)Specialties: Spacecraft operations, spacecraft autonomy, and attitude control systems engineering
