About Fred Lockwood
I have been convinced since the start of my career that the world must find solutions to reduce its CO2 emissions. After a short stint in the wind turbine business, I was one of the very first persons in Air Liquide to work on Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS), helping build the strong position the company enjoys in the field today. Since, I have continued to focus my career on the energy transition and have a proven track-record of developing innovative (FOAK) technologies and setting-up new activities. I am at ease with both the technological and commercial sides of business and enjoy managing the complexity and uncertainty that come with new ventures.Most recently I co-founded and now lead an innovative joint venture (OCEOS) that brings together the worlds of shipping and industrial gases to transport large volumes of captured CO2 to where it can be either permanently stored or used.
