This company was set up after leaving Monsanto, and is the entity through which my wife and I run our private equity, consulting and property development businesses, in addition to board positions. This business ran alongside our ownership of RQA Asia Pacific, and my subsequent employment post-sale as Auditing Director, Intertek (2010-2013), where, following the sale of RQA Asia Pacific to Stericycle and Intertek, I was responsible for the global transition of the RQA auditing business sector into Intertek. During this time, I integrated our offices and personnel (Shanghai, Sydney, Chicago), auditors, policies, procedures, customers, reporting requirements and marketing initiatives (including the launch of the BRC, SQF and IFS standards in North America for Intertek). I completed this task in 2013, and my wife and I continue to manage private equity investments, residential property development projects, and provide consultancy and accreditation services since that time.

This business provided crisis management and quality assurance services (including supplier management/ auditing services), technical process/ engineering consulting, risk management and crisis response services in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries in the Asia Pacific region (China/ Korea/ Japan/ SE Asia/ India/ Australia-New Zealand). The business also provided retail and product retrieval services, using over 200 field contractors through Australia/ New Zealand and Asia Pacific, to retrieve and/ or remediate consumer products at retail or consumer level throughout the region. During this time we set up operations and legal entities in Hong Kong and Shanghai (in addition to the head office in Sydney). Through a joint venture with Georgeson Shareholders we also provided comprehensive CRM call center services and product recall/ retrieval services to top-tier consumer goods companies in Australia. We developed and implemented 2nd/ 3rd party audit standards and supply chain quality assurance services for our top-tier international clients, using about 50 highly trained and qualified auditors in the region, operating in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. This required standards development, auditor training/ performance monitoring, and database management to assure supply chain performance and continuous improvement for our customers. We also hosted the NFPA (now the Consumer Brands Association) office in Sydney and worked closely with NFPA to launch the SAFE program into the Asia Pacific region.

Technical and Operations Director for the pharmaceutical, food ingredient and chemical consumer products supply chain for Monsanto in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Managed plants and supply chain team assets (lawn and garden, sweetener, pharmaceutical) to maintain regulatory compliance, introduce new product offerings, reduce costs, meet budget targets and optimize 150 MM (AUD) supply chain. Operations lead to assess, integrate and manage acquisitions into Monsanto operations to meet growth targets. Implemented continuous improvement programs to track and improve performance at the plant and distribution levels. Implemented personal incentive programs as we negotiated two enterprise employee agreements. Maintained performance through down-sizing, implemented safety programs to improve employee safety performance, enacted capital projects to improve efficiencies and capacity. Led plant-based business development team to develop products, customer and increase contract manufacturing and private label plant sales from 3 MM to 12 MM (AUD) over three year period. Designed, developed and managed supply chain to manufacture and distribute 50 MM (AUD)/ yr. lawn and garden chemical business in Australia.

Business development/ product development and plant design and installation to support growth in developing nations. I provided project planning, financial analysis, technical/ engineering project management for the design, construction, startup and validation of sweetener and pharmaceutical formulation plants. Project lead for the design and installation/ validation and management oversight of Monsanto joint venture operations in Lagos, Nigeria (Dangote Group), Jinja , Uganda (Madhvani Group), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (Kwanza, LTD), Goa, India (Parle) and Coimbatore, India (Tata).

Project/ startup engineer to design, install and commission joint venture facilities in Rijkevoort, Netherlands (DMV Campina) and Lapinlahti, Finland (Valio) for the production of dairy-based fat substitutes (Simplesse), and the NutraSweet applications pilot plant in Bievre (Paris) France. Supply Chain Manager, through these joint ventures, for Monsanto's food ingredient business in Europe.

Management of pilot plant operations, supporting research into process optimization, improvements and of aspartame and other functional food ingredients, process research and application/ scale-up to production. plant/ process design, equipment design, installation, optimization and process validation.

Process research, design and development of fermentation, protein isolation and purification processes (recombinant E. Coli fermentation of bovine/ porcine somatatropins - BST/ PST).
