As a seasoned professional in distribution software and security channel management, my role revolves around cultivating strong partnerships with vendors and resellers to oversee the seamless operation of our software brands. At the helm of a dynamic team of ten skilled individuals, my responsibilities encompass coordinating the efforts of four sales personnel, two administrators, two business development managers, and two service engineers.My leadership is instrumental in achieving and exceeding sales targets, effectively marketing our software portfolio, and ensuring top-tier service delivery to our extensive and diverse reseller network. My track record is marked by a consistent record of meeting both vendor-set and internal management objectives and targets.In this multifaceted role, my duties encompass, but are not limited to:• Stakeholder Management - both internally and externally across all levels.• Strategy Development & Implementation – Creating and implementing business development plans • Sales and Business Development - Identifying market opportunities through various channels. Execution of sales plans to achieve targets. Achieving these targets would not be possible without my solid relationships and intricate understanding of my vendors and resellers. • Reseller Development - Building positive relationships that helps business growth, arranging both sales and technical training for them to improve their knowledge and assist them with pipeline development activities. • Marketing – Develop and implementing sales and marketing strategies for my vendors, including measurement and report back. • Operations Management – Organising and managing the daily operations of the division.• Human Resource Management – Managing divisional employee recruitment, onboarding, training and development.• Financial - Preparing financial projections and sales targets for the team, forecasting to vendors, and compiling reports for management.

Established the Security Division from inception, marking a pioneering achievement within Drive Control. Assumed a leadership role, overseeing, evaluating, and guiding team activities encompassing sales, business development, quoting, customer meetings, and more. Fostered collaboration with channel partners to assess end-user security requirements, leading the strategic formulation and execution of comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aimed at driving reseller growth for our product portfolio. Crafted departmental strategies and policies to align with the division's objectives. Set ambitious sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), and proactively pursued process enhancements while meticulously identifying risks and areas of concern, subsequently devising tailored action plans to mitigate them.
