I've been in the off road world since 1980. Owned and operated a restoration and repair shop before taking a position as a technician, and later a shop foreman at a Land Rover dealership until December 1996. Took the position of full time driving instructor with Land Rover NA in February of 1997. In that time I've provided both driver and technical training to thousands of customers, vendors, internals and members of the press. Other manufacturers I have provided training to include Porsche, Ford and Toyota. Advance driver training and tactical recovery has been provided to members of the State department and DOD special forces. Other areas of experience include course design and construction in hundreds of locations around the US in both urban and rural settings. I've been involved in the execution in new vehicle launches and auto shows displays and logistics as well. Heavily involved in the training and onsite trail infrastructure of Land Rover and Fords off road driving schools.I was fortunate to represent the United States in the 1990 Camel Trophy, traveling roughly 1000 mile across eastern Siberia in a international off road driving competition. On the heels of Siberia, the following 2 years I drove a film crew across Tanzania to Burundi covering the same event in 1991, and as a convoy mechanic in 1992 for the event in Brazil to Guyana. Looking to continue my life long passion for meeting new people, teamwork, attention to detail and sharing knowledge in 2022 and beyond.
