I am an aspiring occupational therapist in my final year at the University of Rwanda, committed to enhancing health and well-being through evidence-based, client-centered care. As a co-founder of the Rwanda Occupational Therapy Student Association (RWOTA-SU), I advocate tirelessly for the advancement of occupational therapy in Rwanda, particularly focusing on increasing awareness of the impact of occupations/activities on mental and physical health.Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong work ethic, rooted in the belief that effective therapy requires empathy, diligence, and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt. I am passionate about understanding each individual’s unique needs and helping them regain independence, confidence, and quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions.My vision is to contribute to the growth of occupational therapy in Rwanda, both by directly working with clients and through advocacy, research, and education.
