I was in charge of scheduling and implementing high level discovery calls that came down to a deeply consultative approach. The Discovery/Strategy Calls with the owners of the business focused in on what they were currently doing inside the business, what systems or processes were in place and what was lacking within the business. What are the goals and aspirations of the business owner for future growth of the company. Are their goals written down which allows them to be crystalized. The strategies that were focused on could be around the implementation of a more solid sales process, it could be focusing on making the production side of the business stronger. I would help the owner look at the data that was being captured through the use of very defined KPI's. We would look at the financials of the business and how those were being tracked. The membership also included one on one coaching and mindset strategy sessions for the owners of the company. The goal was to sell the owner on our membership based service that was an investment of $2500.00 per month or a pay in full of $25,000 for the year. My average close rate on these calls was about 40% on a rolling monthly average. My role here was on a contractor/consultant basis with the company. During my time there I more than doubled their fulltime member base and generated over 1.9 Million dollars in new membership revenue.
