North Florida Territory Manager

Our primary concern is that people who come to Dark Waters Training, leave with confidence and the ability to defend themselves. We strongly hope that they never have to use any of the skills or things learned here for the defense of themselves or their family, but if they do, we want this knowledge to be used confidently and with great vigor.

I was given the title of Range Master for the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office Training Center ,where I supervised the shooting range and all 160 employees of the Sheriff’s Office while on the range. I conducted all high liability training and maintained records for this training. I maintained the operating budget for the range and training division. I also oversaw out side Law Enforcement agencies' training and use of the range. I had approximately 14 volunteer NRA Firearms Instructors / Range Safety Officers who assisted me in instructing civilians with Firearms Safety, Concealed Carry and Hunter Safety.Member of the Region III Training Counsel Committee, Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy.I performed consultation as a court recognized expert on use of force, firearms, and defensive tactics.I served as a Team leader and member of The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team and as a member of the Sheriff's Dive Team. I was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division as a Property Crimes Detective, Persons Crimes Detective and Narcotics Detective. I also was assigned to the United States Marshall's North Florida Violent Fugitive Task Force while working investigations.

Describe your position

Franklin County Sheriff's Office is where I began my Law Enforcement carrier. I was hired as a Deputy Sheriff in the Patrol Division and placed on shift, while still attending the Academy. I responded to calls for service, while upholding Federal Law's, State Law's and, County Ordinances.
