Fred Oluoch is a technology builder, media strategist, events planner and entrepreneur (and all-around product obsessive). For last 25 years, Oluoch worked in sales and traditional media in Nairobi and Kigali before transitioning into events and technology. His roaster of clientele includes some of the leading brands in Africa including Forbes Africa, Samsung, Rwanda Stock Exchange, Skol, Rwanda Football Federation, Heineken to mention but a few.He is currently as at January 2025 serving as a business development consultant at RG consult Inc a Kigali based sales promotions, technology, events, experiential, marketing agency having joined in July 2018. Key among projects Oluoch handled at RG consult Inc was creation from scratch and scale up of ticketing platform for events in Rwanda domiciled on www.rgtickets.com. Since its curation in 2018, RG tickets successfully automated over 250,000 tickets worth over US$300,000 involving over 100 events. Oluoch’s passion is to support East Africa to emerge as a global technology hub. Oluoch founded Zamuka an agrifintech venture operating at the intersection of blockchain and AI in February 2024 and is serving as its Chief Strategy Officer. Zamuka is on a mission to on board an estimated 35 million East African households into web 3 by 2030. Alongside his role at RG Consult Inc, Oluoch actively advises and invests in businesses aimed at empowering people that cross the intersection of technology, events, content and marketing. Oluoch is an aspiring author, documenting his experiences in the African start up scene with his first publication "Moving Mountains" scheduled for printing by early 2027.Oluoch is also writing his second publication "Cracking the codes" capturing his experiences within Rwanda’s nascent technology space scheduled for printing by early 2028.He attended Egerton University in Kenya as an undergraduate as from 1991 to 1995.Oluoch lives in Kigali City Rwanda.www.zamuka.co.rw@ojiwah
