In this role, I work part-time in the ‘Careers Hub’ at De Montfort University helping students that have a range of career queries. This involves; reviewing CVs, booking students in for appointments, upselling upcoming events, signposting students to relevant websites and giving career guidance. So far this role has developed my multi-tasking skills as I have to balance working in the university as well as studying for my final year here.

My role was to support both the Careers and Placements team for the Business and Law faculty aswell as the wider Careers Team across the university. This involved; supporting on events and programmes, liaising with employers for events and recruitment, creating marketing material for events, initiatives and roles for students to apply for, answering students' queries while managing the front desk, and delivering presentations and talks on various career topics.
