We are a Boutique wine store, with over eight hundred lables, of the best wines that the Western Cape Region in South Africa has to offer. We look after Waterford, Thelema, Newton Johnson, Ross Gower as well as the Painted Wolf range of wines in KZN.Not only are we a Boutique Wine Store, but we Distribute Wines, help with the set up of wine lists, Food and Wine pairing and waiter training.

• Manage a diverse regional sales team; overseeing all aspects of sales across two sales divisions including merchandising, promotions, listing, and selling to meet targeted sales budgets across all three wine industry channels, namely grocers, independent retailers and chains as well restaurants.• Manage, at a regional level, all aspects of the distribution business, including cost management, stock control and profitability as well as sales forecasting and expense and profit budgeting.• Manage regional and some national Key accounts including: Spar, Pick ‘n Pay, Shoprite Checkers, as well as Picardi Rebel, Ultra Liquors, Metro, Makro and other liquor groups in Kwa-Zulu Natal.• Report to Board of Directors on regional performance including all aspects of cost management and sales performance.• Manage all staffing issues including procurement (handled internally), disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.• Liaise with producers, external marketers, and internal marketing department on pricing, promotional schedules, merchandising activities, public relations activities, product development and all other aspects of the marketing mix.• Involved in strategic management and forward planning through national strategic planning meetings including brand positioning, product selection and range extension decisions. Also involved in more fundamental strategic decisions around where Vinimark is headed as an organisation.
