After my experience with the 2008 mortgage meltdown, I founded Rain City Capital in 2009 with the belief we could do it better. I understand the business of hard money because I love it. I enjoy the risk/reward, the people, the math, and the creative solutions. It's my passion—and working on your passion is its own reward. By practicing a borrower-first mentality with conservative underwriting criteria, Rain City Capital has grown to become a leading hard money lender in Washington state, processing over 7,000 transactions to fund over $1.5B in loans. I’m also a firm believer in giving back and investing in the community, which is why I created Rain City Capital’s $100 Mission Initiative and recently launched the "Flip it Forward" program to benefit the victims of the Lahaina wild fires.
