The total cost of the facilityincluding barge & transportation is budgeted for $120m. The facility is capable ofprocessing 520,000 tons per year of wood pellets for resale to European coal firedpower facilities. Site contractor coordination included site cut to fill of 325,000 cy ofmaterials, dock remediation, site paving, piping, concrete quantities of 12,100 cy &E&I work totaling approximately 250,000 ft of conduit & cable. The project consisted of union labor from the Philadelphiatrades and at peak totaled over 1600 personnel including management staff. Theproject was built and COD in two year’s time successfully available for powerdispatch to grid for the May ’04 and June ’04 COD’s.
