C# bug fixes with TFS of an analytics set of applications.

• Quickly up to speed on the company’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) software suite.• Transitioned web based secure email client provided by Updox to a captured DLL assembly.• New email client utilized API calls in VB.NET and was instrumental in passing certification test.• Assisted team in validation tests of CCDA (Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture) XML files created by AMS EHR software.• Extensive modifications made to create and import CCDA documents.

Testing and integration work on a new version of the mission planning software for Tomawk cruise missiles. worked on a Special Project (SP) called Joint and Community of Interest (CoI) Open Source (OS) Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) Authorization for Transportation Services (J-CAATS). Utilized DISA’s OS ABAC to show proof of concept in replacing user name/password accounts with smart card (CAC) based access.

• Worked on a Java based web application that pulled attributes from a web service co-located on a Tomcat server initially and then moved to an Amazon EC2 cloud.• Exclusively worked on a Special Project (SP) called Joint and CoI OS ABAC Authorization for Transportation Services (J-CAATS). We utilized DISA’s Open Source Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) to implement a Special Project (SP) proof of concept project. Community of Interest (CoI) was added to enhance existing user attributes to aid in authorization access to DoD systems.• All four test events were successfully completed with only external problems on the last test which were quickly corrected and retested.• The web application was written with the Spring MVC framework and Maven for easy deployment to a Tomcat Linux server.

I have taken 5 major projects from start to finish. Three projects were developed solo. They are all in use today and were developed in VB.NET, C#, Delphi and VB.6. One high value project was a conversion of a C++ program to VB.NET and C#. The back end of that project was left in C++ but wrapped to communicate with other units of the application.One project (BESTLogicPlus) was designed to be integrated into a larger application (BESTCOMPlus). It was completed in one years’ time and on schedule. It allows users to draw logic diagrams in a free form manner. The program monitors the diagram as it's created to enforce certain constraints on the logic diagram stored in SQL CE databases. Once complete, the diagram is compiled and sent to numerous Basler hardware platforms via Ethernet or USB. Users have used the diagrams as state machines in place of a generic PLC. This is primarily because of the ease of use in creating and maintaining the logic diagrams.A Borland Delphi program that graphically represents Basler’s repertoire of digital relays. These settings are pulled from a Microsoft Access database via shared Visual Basic DLLs. The settings are laid out similar to a restricted desktop publishing application. The logic diagrams are handled dynamically and items are shifted and reflowed for portrait or landscape modes. New version of relay product settings files are easily added by adding profiles that are translated at run time.My first major Delphi project was a SCADA software package. It consisted of fourteen separate Windows NT applications that cooperate and communicate through shared memory. I completely revamped the Modbus serial bus protocol program from a console program to a multi-threaded high performance Windows application. Also a redesigned reports program was converted to an object oriented and modular unit with SQL queries in Delphi.

US Air Force Communications Agency (AFCA) Promoted Information Protection, Enterprise Information Management and Network Management architectures in the Air Force’s Joint Technical Architecture (JTA). Excelled as agency lead for review of military’s Smart Card or Common Access Card (CAC) program mandated by President Clinton. Defined architectures for the Air Force Information Technology (IT) to inter-operate between branches of the armed services. Researched and reworked electronic messaging (Email) architecture sections of the Air Force JTA. Revised Command, Control, Communications and Computers (C4) Systems Requirements documents for Architectural and Interoperability provisions.Successfully completed PC and related equipment portion of Air Force Year 2000 (Y2K) program management effort. Created and distributed Excel spreadsheets with VBA macros for Air Force wide tracking of infrastructure assets. Later converted data via Delphi program utilizing DDE to track individual organization progress in solving Y2K problems. Investigated vendor efforts to evaluate, test and certify computer and communication products including computers, embedded systems and telephone switches.

Advanced Engineering and Planning Corp. (AEPCO) Lead a group of engineers and analysts in performing engineering, technical and logistic review and analysis of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) hardware and software. Completed a special project overseeing Built-In-Test demonstration at McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems resulting in reduced maintenance costs. Testified as software expert during informal GAO hearing in legal protest concerning automatic hydraulic test equipment. Promoted creation of centralized Post Deployment Software Support Facility (PDSSF) for Army Aviation.
