I’m a senior construction manager with over 25 years of experience building and leading teams to conceptualize and deliver engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning efforts within the oil and gas industry.I’ve managed, led, and overseen a significant number of complex projects in a variety of dynamic environments, from the Alaskan North Slope to the plains of Iraq, and have built solid project teams to achieve and drive improvement across cost, schedule, quality and EHS targets. I leverage strong analytical, business, and financial acumen to develop strategies and implement successful business plans with all stakeholders. Throughout my career, I’ve been instrumental in developing and executing robust processes to achieve multiple objectives during a variety of operational stages, whether during bidding and tendering to risk mitigation and improving market share, margins, customer responsiveness, and client satisfaction. A few of my successes include: • Staffing a complete Construction Execution Team to include all of the necessary disciplines to facilitate the construction of approximately 200 well sites, 250 miles of pipeline and numerous infrastructure projects per year on the Bakken play in North Dakota• Development of a complete Field Managed Projects organization on the North Slope of Alaska to deliver engineering, design and ultimately construction and commissioning services for numerous efforts to support the Greater Prudhoe Bay fields.• Staffing a complete Engineering and Construction organization to facilitate all necessary activities in support of new exploration activities on the plains of Kurdistan, Iraq.• Working through challenging cultural and communication barriers to utilize the local workforce to complete construction and start-up of a $185M propane shipping facility in ZJG, China• I have consistently leveraged a “fit for purpose approach” to safely, effectively, and consistently deliver projects across all environments
