Location Manager – Atlanta, GA (April 2014 to September 2017)Responsible for the daily operation and logistics of providing safe and efficient school bus transportation, for charter schools and outside charter customers.● Manage the logistics for 36 bus routes. ● Manage 50 employees, including drivers, mechanics and dispatchers.● Responsible for Location’s Safety Audit as per DOT, OSHA and company standards. Improved Audit results 12% over previous year.● Assure that location is compliant with company, state and federal rules and regulations.● Maintain DOE, DOT, OSHA and Georgia State personnel files for accuracy. ● Process weekly payroll.● Perform HR duties including hiring and terminating employees, discipline, on-boarding of new employees and conducting monthly safety meetings.● Manage vendor and customer contracts for compliance.● Process accounts payable and receivables in a timely manner.● Analyze and verify P&L reports monthly. Responsible for monthly/annual budget.● Process monthly billing sheets for customers.● Work directly with the schools regarding student transportation planning and scheduling.
