A Cognitive Behavioural Evidence Based Hypnotherapist (Yateley Hypnotherapy is the profile) with many interests, there is really no way to summarise my life or goals as there are too many parts to it. The most current project will be at the top.Currently I also work for the National Autistic Society (since 2019) with neuro- diverse adults. I run a monthly Social group in Aldershot, about 25 one to one talking sessions and numerous phone calls and texts a month with adults on the spectrum who also may have Co-morbid or other conditions .My greatest problems now are I need to find some people some jobs! People on the Soectrum make the most AWESOME employees. They are honest, have a good work ethic and, if anything, pay TOO much attention to detail.The stereotype of Rainman autism is so outdated. These days probably everyone knows someone with autism at some level. It isn’t an illness or a disease or a handicap. It is just a wiring of the brain. Just the same way that guy can be an Olympic skier and I can’t stand on a pair of skis because I’m not coordinated enough. I've done a lot of things in my life as I'm not afraid to take a step to something new and accomplish it. I love a challenge, to learn and to work hard. I particularly love solving problems!Hypnosis has always been an interest of mine. The "Fixed Attention" of children when they are absorbed in learning is very similar to a hypnotic state as are Visualisation and Relaxation and Meditation. Having done all of the above with my Asperger's son (and being an agony aunt), for many years, I decided to combine them all and love it.Founder of the (supposedly) largest group on Facebook regarding the Autistic Spectrum Disorder "Pathological Demand Avoidance", which has turned Global and bred offshoots. Whle I am not as active there as I used to be, I still remain quite aware and interested in Autism, Mental Health and raising awareness of both.Oh, and I HATE all this networking nonsense. I'd much rather be doing something productive than filling out these boxes in the hopes to impress someone who is impressed by all this salesmanship. So “marketing” myself is done to the minimum. Trying to change my corner of the world done to the maximum. It is what it is. :-)
