The BMI task force focuses on specifications for business modeling. It is responsible for BPMN, SBVR, BMM and other specifications. I had a leadership role in the development of CMMN (case management, adaptive process modeling) VDML (business design modeling for business leaders--support for "business architecture analysis and design) and MVF (Multiple Vocabulary Facility for adapting applications to support alternative natural language user interfaces) . My current interest is in the initiation of development of a complex, dynamic, systems modeling language (unification of complex systems and system dynamics modeling), and development of a framework for business transformation requirements management, accountability and control. I have been active with OMG since 1995, and I have contributed to a number of different specifications over the years, from computer application development to business design and systems integration.

Participate in the development of software standards including VDML, BPMN, CMMN, MVF and more.

The mission of the organization is to improve the lives of persons with a mental illness and their families through support, education, advocacy and the promotion of research. The organization is membership-based, all-volunteer, and non-profit. My primary role is to advocate with policy makers and administrators to improve the public mental health system in Michigan and particularly Oakland County.

LEADing Practice is an Enterprise Standards Body providing repeatable and reusable best practices (what works well) industry practices (performance accelerators) and leading practices (outperforming and value patterns). The Enterprise Standards are packaged as integrated reference content that structures executives and organizations way of thinking, working and implementing that links strategy with operational execution.

Development of offerings,development of industry standards, thought leadership, management consulting.

This involved management consluting and development of EDS offerings. A key goal of this position was industry leadership. I addressed this through my participation in development of industry standards with OMG along with blog postings, published articles and a book.
