I’m the editor of a state-wide magazine of the United Methodist Church in Missouri. When I’m not reporting on one of the 500 churches in the state I enjoy running, camping and travel. Family camping trips included crossing the border into Mexico (Big Bend National Park), canoe camping in the bayous in Louisiana and the Everglades in Florida, backpacking in Alaska, and trekking around Mont Blanc. We’ve traveled to 50 states (49 for the kids) and camped in most of them. We blogged about cooking and consuming every recipe in the Cooking Wild in Missouri cookbook, and the hunting and fishing required to make the recipes. I’m currently engaged in wildlife habitat improvement on a farm that has been in my family for more than 140 years.
