Trustee for the JKL Foundation, which was founded and funded by the owners of Datatrac. • Administered the sale process of a $140M privately held company, including preparation of offering document, management presentations, and completion of due diligence.• Oversaw installation of Deltek accounting applications for government contractor, including project accounting, budgeting module, billing, human resources, and all general accounting modules.• Restructured chart-of-accounts and operational structure to achieve FAR/DCAA compliance; developed planning processes to provide comprehensive operational and financial plans based on focused strategic directives.• Served as Trustee for two charitable trusts involved in supporting local and international churches, education, and training in inner city, low income areas while providing academic scholarships to students with great financial needs.

A startup company that developed wireless “hot-spot” Internet network in hotels, airports, and national coffee shop chain. • Raised more than $40M from private equity funds, prepared and made presentations to potential investors, and developed milestone measures for attainment of operational/financial goals.• Developed and planned budgets, created pricing models for Wi-Fi services, and oversaw all accounting/finance activities, including managing the property and casualty insurance program and benefits/401 (k) plan.• Hired and developed financial staff members and oversaw transition and integration process when company was acquired by T-Mobile in 2002.

A $1.5B producer of digital and fiber optic telecomm equipment for US and global clients; acquired by Alcatel in 1998. • Staffed and managed the finance organization for a publicly held manufacturing company which grew from $27M in sales to more than $300M annual revenue.• Managed financial operations and teams for global manufacturing operations that spanned the US, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Ireland, and Netherlands.• Introduced a cost-reduction action plan for DSC that resulted in more than $19M annual savings, faster audit times, improved inventory accuracy, and decreases in inventory levels by $150M.• Directed redesign of accounting and operational processes to integrate in-plant stores, eliminate multi-step data entry, and revise accounting methods to reflect JIT processes, leading to “virtual” accounting closes.• Designed activity-based accounting for high-tech manufacturing operation and software/hardware development groups, including documentation of process flows; also managed design and installation of Oracle applications.• Led acquisition review and integration activities for a public company with market value of $400M+.
