About Freddie Avalos

My professional career in Information Technology began in 1996. I was 23 years old and knew almost nothing about computers. I had a little bit of experience with MS-DOS, macOS, Windows 3.1, and intermediate level skills with Commodore 64, and AmigaOS. All the technological experience I acquired over the course of my professional career was learned on the job. You show me. You teach me. I learn it. I do it. I have provided phone call and face-to-face service to internal employees at all levels, including working on a CEO's personal computer in his home. I have worked directly with application developers, database administrators, email administrators, and network administrators. I have experience working as part of a team and individually with no supervision. I am eager to obtain new tech skills, especially in AWS or Azure.Security clearance I've held:DoD SECRET security clearance | 10/2004 – 07/2021.Veterans Affairs PUBLIC TRUST security clearance | 10/2021 – present.Technologies I'm interested in:AI, Blockchain, Cloud, Cryptocurrency, Fintech, IoT, Robots.Contact me: favalos1@gmail.com | (512) 922-3959
