A lot of people doing what I do consider themselves motivational speakers. I think that's great, however my purpose and passion is to inspire the masses to be enlightened, and encouraged on how enriched they already are. Mind and thought are the grandest possessions known to mankind, and with the proper use of the creative mind we can change our conditions, save our lives, by consciously living our best lives. Developing Emotional intelligence helps put us in perfect harmony with the objective of the creative mind, Love. These are all things that I've learned and begin to master after troubled years as an adolescent, and young adult. I overcame a life of drugs, drug addiction, divorce, depression, and losing a child to Gun violence. Developing emotional intelligence, controlling my thoughts toward my feelings, allowed me to tap into my creative ability, and serve as a mentor as well as advocate for troubled youth. I have been privileged to speak and encourage men in prison, as well as several different high school students. I'm known around my community as Uncle Fred, by the youth as well as their parents who bare witness to the efficiency of my penetrating conversations and connection with the younger generation. I am at the beginning stages of my nonprofit, (DELO) Developing Emotional Literacy Outreach, where we will be helping the youth grow in the area of Emotional Intelligence, and the power of thought, through one on one, as well as group sessions, approved curriculums, and field trips. My desire is to bring us all into the awareness and harmony with our greater self. From the carefree kindergartner to the perplexed custom keeping parent, I seek to evoke the thought and the will, for one to grow and increase in every area of their life.
