After moving next door from the Cricketers, the Black Lion pushed on further to being more of a nighttime location. Band and DJ nights, supported with a great team of sometimes up to 7/8 bar staff a night to keep up with the numbers coming through the door. Team atmosphere and connection was made hugely visible here as a good one creates a better atmosphere for the guests which in turn brings them through the door. Had two incredible managers who taught me a lot on how to run a busy city establishment while making sure everyone was having a good time.
