-Direct global intellectual property strategy for $18B company, including patents and trade secrets.-Created intellectual property program, including development of global intellectual property policy, internal evaluation and strategic ranking process, electronic invention submission process, selection and implementation of intellectual property database, establishment of inventor remuneration and recognition program, and global e-learning modules and training program to advise on all aspects of intellectual property and legal agreements. -Lead quarterly cross-functional Intellectual Property Review Committee meetings to evaluate and effect protection of the company’s most strategically valuable inventions.-Direct intellectual property (IP) governance within the global organization, and partner with critical business partners including R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, and Tax to strategically align with IP.-Counsel and closely work with management, R&D, and engineering teams in the strategic value of patent development and engagement with third parties for R&D and other collaborations.-Structure, draft, and negotiate complex agreements (under attorney supervision), including joint development agreements, research agreements, license agreements, and procurement agreements, including with largest global customers.
