Responsible for all technical and administrative activities of the Doneit Group. Areas of expertise include land use, zoning, and economic analyses, New York State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR), FEMA hazard mitigation planning, Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) planning, and Geographic Information Systems. Provide a range of GIS services to municipal and private clients including visual impact assessment and 3-D modeling, build-out/development potential analysis. Advise municipalities/private developers and provide expert guidance on the development application review and approval process.

Was responsible for and assisted in the areas of comprehensive planning, preparation and review of New York State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) documents, preparation and review of zoning amendments, site plan and subdivision review; provided representation at municipal meetings; conducted a wide variety of planning related studies; managed implementation, operation, and maintenance of FPCA Geographic Information Systems (GIS); consulted on a range of municipal and private GIS assignments including data conversions, development potential and visual impact analyses.

Provided research and technical assistance in the preparation of a major environmental performance indicator project/report for the Buffalo-Niagara Bi-national Region; facilitated local meetings aimed at helping to improve the incorporation of indicators in regional and state policy making; proposed action steps to more accurately measure and monitor the environmental performance of the region.

Provided technical and consulting services for the implementation of a Geographic Information System (GIS) for Aruba’s 2000 Census; performed GIS data conversion, data automation, and database design; created map sets for use in the field by canvassers; trained staff and provided technical support to end-users; consulted regarding further implementation strategies.

Coordinated the City’s Complete Count Committee for the 2000 Census; collected, organized and analyzed planning data and conducted research on a variety of planning and zoning issues related to the City’s Master Plan, Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan, and the Cayuga Creek Restoration Plan; reviewed development proposals and various other requests for conformance with City regulations.
