Production of custom software. The development is done using C/C++ and Java on UNIX and Linux. Areas include Web Services, SAAS, CORBA and Oracle. One solo project was the design and implementation of a multi-tier web services application used by a leading wireless operator and by a provincial health plan. Performed statistical analysis for a HR consultancy, by converting and validating data to enable rapid implementation of Employment Equity planning.

Worked on a visual SNMP based network monitoring system using C++, TCL, Java and Oracle, as a senior developer mentoring the junior team members and acting as a human UNIX encyclopedia.

Worked on compiler tools being assigned the task of producing COFF to ELF translator and an enhanced linker that could handle both COFF and ELF modules to produce either a COFF or ELF executable. This allowed programs to be interoperable between Unix V.3 and V.4. Worked on a Java based visual debugger, being responsible for the GUI interface
