At Jane Goodall Institute, Kimaro is responsible for advancing the mission of the Institute through a focus on sustainable livelihoods, conservation science, advocacy, ecological research, empowering youth, public awareness and environmental education, as well as leading a staff of more than 80 conservation professionals in Tanzania. Before joining Jane Goodall Institute, as country financial controller in 2002, Frederick acted as academic staff in Moshi University College. Despite being a leader in the areas of financial management and administration, and Information technology his long experience with JGI, over 15 years, has now gained him a lot of experience that help him lead and manage a community conservation and development program. Provide leadership and managerial support to the team as well able to establish a long and credible history of working with the government of Tanzania, other NGO partners, and local communities in promoting community conservation in Western Tanzania and across the country.
