I provided administrative support to the Community School Director when requested. I did things such as assist her in the creation of purchasing card reports, making and maintaining files, and managing the leadership team calendar on Outlook. Most noteworthy, I took over the hiring process for the program. I scheduled interviews, was the point person for pending employees, and submitted hiring documents and packets to HR, among other things. This allowed leadership to implement changes that allowed students to have a better housing experience in the academic year. Also, it allowed us to have smoother operations for the academic year.Coordinated with vendors and relevant stakeholders to ensure facility readiness before students moved in every summer. During the academic year, I worked with vendors to ensure building maintenance.Provided feedback to leadership on multiple occasions in debriefs. I commented on the efficiency of operational procedures and how we may improve them. As an example, I suggested the use of Asana to help us have better project management and to help us collect our data easier and with less mistakes. Asana was implemented, and it led to an increase in operational efficiency by over 20%. Show less
