My teams delivered advanced secure technologies used in all terminals worldwide (roughly 1.5m units/yr) as well as the Groupe’s communications modules – PSTN modems, BlueTooth, ISDN, GSM/GPRS, etc. Was also leading the mechanical and CAD teams for the Groupe. Participated in the integration of Ingenico’s largest acquisition based in North America and actively participated in international business development activities. Lead projects involving team players in many different countries to address the requirements of multinational customers.1999-2002 : Director of product development for the Groupe - Ingenico, FranceWas heading the R&D function, reporting directly to the CEO. This included managing five R&D centers in several countries, i.e. France, Spain, Germany, Scotland and Australia. Up to 140 people reported to me and I managed a budget of 25m€. The company was then shipping 800K units/yr and was experiencing significant growth (roughly 30%/yr). Drove the integration of many diverse engineering organizations as the company had an aggressive acquisition strategy.
