I have a long experience as solution provider to major mobile operators, utilities, high frequency trading networks, and public/national safety customers. During my career I took the lead designing very large (multi M $US) customers microwave backhaul networks taking into consideration various characteristics such as the Layer 2, 2.5 & 3 transport technologies, quality of service, synchronization, multicast, network management, automation and the cost of ownership. I’m skilled in the protocols employed in the backhaul networks such as Ethernet, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, VPNs, QinQ, Sync-E, 1588v2, etc. Even though I focus on microwave transmission, I have deep understanding of transmission technologies used by our customers.As a product pre-sale specialist I also focus on introducing new products/software releases/solutions at key accounts. Being fluent in three languages (English, French, Spanish) allows me to easily work in many countries across any region. I work closely with account/sales managers to understand customer requirements. Then, I go through the various phases of technical presentations, tenders, seminars, workshops, demonstrations, and proofs of concept until the integration phase.In addition, I work closely with the Product Line Managers in charge of the products development to contribute to customer/market requirements to influence the product improvements or new developments.I am also very experienced in developing software tools to automate repetitive tasks, processing massive databases, to quickly provide synthetic data to the sales teams. I have also developed marketing tools and design tools.I have a long experience in managing teams of Pre-Sales and Network Engineers covering the international and French markets.In summary, I am a seasoned pre-sales engineer with excellent knowledge of the transport technologies used in mobile networks, public safety networks, high frequency trading and utilities networks.
