Frédéric Hottinger is a member of the Hottinger UK supervisory board and chairman of Sofibus.Interested in finance from an early age, Frédéric Hottinger studied business and graduated as a broker on the New York Stock Exchange in 1984. In the same year he joined the Baring Brothers Department of Mergers and Acquisitions in London and pursued a junior training course in Hong Kong in a management bank. In 1988 he joined the family group, specialising in wealth management consulting. As he wanted to understand business banking as a whole, he focussed in turn on institutional relations, mergers and acquisitions, asset management and the creation of new entities during the millennium in London, Luxembourg, Austria and Canada.Consistent with the sectors of internationalisation and active partnership, in 2016 Frédéric Hottinger drove the merger of the family holding company and Archimedes Private Office Limited, a private asset management company. In 2017, the group merged with the Luxembourg-based investment company Iteram, therefore adding real estate and asset management to its activities. The new group thus formed has the objective of meeting the complex needs of wealthy families who no longer want the traditional model of private banks.In addition to these activities, Frédéric Hottinger is also president of the property management company Sofibus Patrimoine, which operates the Petits Carreaux business park in Val-de-Marne. He also has a keen interest in all the regulatory issues surrounding crypto assets.
