With over 30 years of experience in management, logistics and IT, I am currently a Logistics Manager at Amazon, the world's leading online retailer. My role is to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the outbound/ship dock department, which processes up to 550,000 parcels a day. To this end, I manage a team of more than 60 employees, supervise and coordinate the operational activities of the department, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards and analyze the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to take corrective actions and optimize the processes, as well as take over the duties of the Operations Manager and Senior Operations Manager in their absence. I am trained in Lean methodologies (5S, Gemba, Kaizen...) and ensure the continuous improvement of the different processes of the Outbound department.I am also an expert in IT project management and security (Cyber Defense), with PRINCE2 and ITIL certifications. I have coordinated and supervised several network and information systems implementation projects, adhering to operational specifications, deadlines and costs. I worked with users, suppliers, partners and authorities and wrote and presented reports, statements of requirements and specifications. I was also the Technical Officer for Space Communications at NATO Air Force Command, where I acted as the interface between operations and systems.I have a passion for innovation, technology and customer satisfaction.
