Formerly at Fermi Lab in Batavia, IL. I am always generating in NX or checking new design layouts. This includes, weldment drawings, specifications, bills of materials for the machine shops on the Laser Notcher, Muon Campus Kicker Load, MU2e Absorber & the IOTA Ring. I have a Red Lean Event Certificate while being committed to the principals of Lean & the continual improvement of any product line I work on. Working with the design team to ensure that the objectives of design projects are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and parameters, I apply certain tools. Clear communication in providing everyone with the status of different projects along with design logs and time keeping have been some of the methods I use. I work well with people & understand how authority works within a group for expediting the workflow process in an effective manner. I have use camera's, calipers, loops & a magnifying glass to check & document physical parts into Word & Power Point Documents. I have received many compliments directly to my immediate supervisor on my thoroughness & getting work done. NX & Teamcenter 9.0 is in use. These Engineering Groups have intensive Computer Automated Design requirements.

Since 2008 trying to keep current with the Windows Server 2008 R2 & Networking, I volunteer one evening a week working for the IT Department of a local non-profit organization.

Projects I have worked on over the last eight (8) years at the Rock Island Arsenal have included the Petroleum Quality Analysis System, M119 Howitzer & the Stryker Armor Systems. These Engineering Groups had intensive Computer Automated Design Modeling, Assemblies, GDT & Drafting requirements. I also was the point of contact for 119 Technical Groups computer problems. Made a point to be on the floor getting dirty, when needed to solve problems. • When the Numerical Control Group ran into problems I immediately extracted error information from five different user’s system logs. These were categorized by: type, frequency, soft / hard / fatal, class of machine & revision level of software etc. This comparison map was provided for an analysis by the vendor. Worked with Tooling / Fixture Group to ensure Quality Assurance. • With help from IT, I was able to roll out a personally developed, Team Center Visualization Training Manual. This was cost effective & included successful online & onsite help within the user community. I have also been an example by generating & pointing out the value of True Virtual Reality with the M119.
