• Developed a distributed, concurrent, asynchronous oriented Java based simulation system for the purpose of performance analysis of Video-On-Demand software during peak Saturday night loads of 10 million viewers. Used REST and SOAP web services, SSP/DSMCC, and LSCP protocols.• Developed Java and Ruby applications to automate the injection of large amounts of cable plant data into VOD systems using SOAP web services.• Developed Java applications that used VMware VSphere API to automate cloning and deployment of VMware VM templates.• Mentored offshore Simulation group

• Developed a Java introspection based framework used in QA test automation which allowed for distributed remote testing using STAF. STAF was used to replicate jars to remote machines which then performed tests and communicated status/progress through STAF messaging. • Incorporated the framework into TestNG and for the purpose of execution from Hudson, debugging, and logging/reporting.

• Developed parts of the operational software for networking gear that hosts major third party IPS (intrusion protection systems) and IDS (intrusion detection systems) applications. • Developed GWT java servlets that perform periodic chassis wide data collections and made it available to other web servers and clients. Also employed rrdtool for summary and storage and was peer aware by way of multicast IGMP groups. • Implemented a Spring 3.0 Framework web interface and servlets that gather and displayed SNMP data from operational software. Data was also persisted using hibernate/MySQL.• Enhanced visibility into the chassis by adding many SNMP elements and such as thermal and voltage, memory and CPU utilization traps and alarms.• Developed an installation wizard with Java3D that provided users with an immersive exploration of their hardware and network. Mapped image files on to Java3D solid rectangles and provided walk-around navigation of chassis and networks.• Developed a IPFIX collector that collected flow information traveling between chassis Linux blades.
