Sans aucune connaissance en voile, nous avons entrepris un voyage découverte/aventure en Voilier de 15000 Miles; depuis l'Espagne vers le Mexique (Pacifique). C'est un challenge différent qui nous a permis de développer d'autres compétences dans un environnement certes magnifique mais extrêmement exigeant. Une tranche de vie vécue à fond, des souvenirs et des enseignements plein la tête.

Through a broad range of activities, I was in charge of developping and implenting the Operational strategy for the Multi Processing Operations (Slaughters house and Further Processing) for the coming years.My daily activity would also include managing the daily and Weekly P&L as well as all Operation managing teams to seek improvement opportunities in their respective areas of responsibility (Production, Purchasing, Scheduling and planning, Engineering and Maintenance).

The later sold Columbia plant was mainly processing ground beef for large retailers in the South East of the US. I was in charge of the whole business unit with support from Corporate. Food Safety, Costumer service through planning, production management and product development were among the areas for which we would focus all our attention. Reactivity, attention du details and thorough follow up on the P&L helped us being successful. This was a new challenging experience where i had to broaden my skills and learn a lot. I got fortunate enough to follow a 6 months onsite organisational training program from one of the best firm in the industry. This allowed the team to get better structured and thrived through the challenges the market was throwing at us at the time. Wonderful experience that led to my promotion as the VP of Operations at FPL Food LLC.

In charge of some of the most impact related engineering projects in all possible fields (Waste Water Treatment, processing lines (Xray Fat analysers, Grinding Systems, steak packing lines), rendering equipment overhaul, continuous improvement, opening new processing plant, etc). As a project manager, I was responsible for the initiation of the projects, financial studies with the Accounting dpt, suppliers selection,

Food processing engineering projects coordination.Project leader for Poultry and Pork Further processing lines (Gold Standard McNuggets, Grilled Bacon). From preparation to packaging, the team that I lead designed, planed, procured and installed all the equipment needed to comply with the High Quality and Food Safety standards or our costumer and to process these protein products with high level of industrial performance and safety. Many projects went through during that time frame and a strong connection with production teams lead to outstanding successes.
