• Responsible in the safe operation for the commissioning of the Khabat Thermal Power Plant (150 MW each x 2-units) for Turbine Generator provided by Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery consists of tandem-compound, single reheater, regenerating and condensing.• Monitors field equipment in the assigned section during the shift period. Collects and records various data related to the process / field equipment in the assigned section. Detects abnormal operating conditions and reporting them to the superiors. Prepares the equipment for hand over to maintenance and then returning to service in safe, efficient and environmentally sound manner. Works under the direction of the Control Room Operator / Shift Charge Engineer, to shutdown or start-up equipment using standard procedures during normal or abnormal plant conditions. Attends to plant emergencies such as fire, gas leaks, etc., under the direction of the Shift Charge Engineer.• Work includes critical coordination to Turbine Board Operator during commissioning activity for Start-up, Shut-down, and Emergency Shut-down operations. Monitoring and checking of Turbine generator parameters/auxiliaries. Conduct routine inspection and reports for any found abnormalities to the immediate Shift Charge for corrective actions to arrive at safe and normal operation. • Monitoring the Plant functions and get data readings of running machines/equipment for the operations like, Condenser System(Condenser Vacuum Pump, Condenser Tube Cleaning System), Gland Steam Condenser System, Condensate Extraction Pump, Main Oil System, L.O. Purifier/Cooler System, Feed Water System(Boiler Feed Pump, Deaerator Feedwater Storage Tank), Cooling Tower System, Closed Cooling Water Pump and Heat Exchanger System, Air Compressor and Air Dryer System, Hydraulic Power Unit System, LP/HP Feed Water Heater and Super Heater System, and Jacking Oil System, Turbine Bearing Oil Pressure and Temperature, Turbine Gland Sealing, Turbine Lube Oil System.
