I have spent 7 years supporting French businesses in their international development, first in France and then in Japan as a Councillor for industry and innovation at the French Embassy in Tokyo. This gave me a strong experience in the areas of institutional relations, business support and international business development, as well as extensive knowledge of many strategic sectors such as digital technology and services, automobile, manufacturing industry, pharmaceutical industry and consumer goods. Thanks to my negotiating and language skills (French, English, Russian, Japanese) I could handle and help solving several sensitive cases, especially for French companies, by dealing with foreign governments.I learned to build synergies with a whole range of stakeholders both in the public and private spheres and to channel diverging interests to serve common goals, for example through a call for the co-funding of French-Japanese innovative projects or through rallying various financial players around the France Num national initiative for the digitalization of SMEs.I am now head of delegation in various multilateral fora (G20, International Telecommunication Union, European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations) where I uphold France's positions on a wide range of digital issues (connectivity, cyber-security, data transfers, artificial intelligence, Internet governance, etc.).
