As a laboratory technician I am responsible for the collection samples and performing tests on body fluids, and specimens. I have been trained to use various types of machinery, lab equipment and complex computer programs to perform testing ordered by physicians. Due to the demand of a sterile environment I have also been trained and have knowledge of maintaining such environments. Additionally, communication and comprehension is key, and the mastering of both has assisted me with the continued success in working the the field of laboratory sciences for 18 years.
