Report: South America CFOTeam: 12 people Main activities and responsibilities:• Responsible for the finance department: controlling (plant, 4 VMIs and South America R&D center), accounting (IFRS and BR Gaap), tax and treasury, including reporting to headquarters (P&L, BS, Cash, Forecast, Projects, Capex, bridges/variations vs budget), attending internal and external auditors (Big 4), monitoring tax and legal contingencies, preparing the annual budget and five-year strategic plan as well as analyzing investment projects• Reorganization of the Finance department: set up and train new team, define objectives, respect reports deadline (P&L and BS reported in 2 days), cash flow monitoring improvement, Bill of Materials audit, implementation of the Gross Margin analysis by products and a new management tool (Activity Analysis dashboard), gathering the main financial indicators • Implementation of a purchasing inflation balance which improved cost controlling and helped the commercial department to better negotiate yearly sales price readjustment.
