Missions:- "Junior" project leader (1 project, 2009/10 budget: 700k€, team: 8 people): in-situ glass -------- in furnace.- Proposal, design and testing of innovative tools for --------.- Trial responsible on pilot furnace. - Contact with suppliers for the making of the -------- tools.- Participation to the flame and electric furnaces melting optimisation project.- Participation to the activity of collection and exploitation of the whole Saint-Gobain Isover furnaces working data for the plant technical follow-up, for the calculation of the furnace wear and life (for the insurances and to plan maintenance) and to check the produced glass quality.Accomplishments:- 2 -------- trials in CRIR pilot furnace.- Potential savings of 30-40% of the actual -------- costs in Isover plants.- Study of melting optimisation of a plant and proposal for a solution after positive results obtained in CRIR pilot furnace. The trial in plant has been done with success.

Mission:- Development of a high temperature resistant sealant for the joining of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC): identification, preparation and characterization of glass and glass-ceramic sealants. Accomplishments:- Two papers published on the "Journal of European Ceramic Society" and on the "International Journal of Hydrogen Energy";- Joints made with the selected materials stand up to 500 hours of thermal cycling tests.
