I was born in Girona, Spain, on October 2, 1982. I received the B.Sc. degree in Technical Computer Systems Engineering and the M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Girona, Spain, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. I received the European M.Sc. in Computer Vision and Robotics (VIBOT) from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, the Université de Borgogne, France, and the University of Girona, Spain, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in March 2012 from the University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg. I was a Research Associate at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) in Luxembourg for two years and I joined IEE S.A., Luxembourg for more than 9 years as a Computer Vision Scientist. Currently I hold the position of Technology and Data Expert at the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH). In collaboration with the Luxembourg Institute of High Performance in Sports (LIHPS) around the "Sportfabrik", I'm responsible for carrying out reliable, safe, secure, and efficient operation of various motion captures technologies and for developing novel multi-modal data fusion and visualization techniques.
