About Frédéric Jay

Ingénieur-chercheur en physique des matériaux avec une expertise forte dans le domaine du photovoltaïque silicium, je viens d'obtenir mon doctorat après 5 années à l'Institut National de l'Energie Solaire (CEA-INES). Les deux premières années passées dans cette entité ont été consacrées aux traitements de surface (texturation/nettoyage) des plaquettes de silicium cristallin destinées à la fabrication de cellules solaires à hétérojonction. Les trois dernières années ont été dédiées à mon travail de thèse concernant l'étude de l’interaction entre la qualité du silicium cristallin et les performances photovoltaïque ainsi qu'à l'intégration de substrats innovants au procédé de fabrication des cellules solaire dans le but de réduire leur coût de production.
