Managed a team of 30 Internal Auditors for conducting Internal Audit managing their recruitment, training, and certification with external accreditor. Managed the ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 compliance programs as a Certified Lead Internal Auditor (CIA) for ISO 9001. Planned, implemented, and conducted on-site internal audits at manufacturing facility in Raleigh, NC and San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Assisted external certification and regulatory agencies with yearly surveillance audits. Managed a small group of technicians in a test and repair environment consulted with CM test team to mitigate critical manufacturing defects, repair of failed production and returned customer systems under aggressive schedule and budget requirements. Designed, implemented, and enforced DFM and quality requirements for Symantec Gateway Security 300/400 multi-LAN/WAN Gateway/Router and SGS5600-series Unified Threat Management security appliances. Developed and documented mass production build test processes, troubleshooting manuals, article inspection procedures for point of origin manufacturers and International distribution return centers. Managed root-cause failure analysis and component level debug on pre-production, production, and customer return electronics and mechanical systems. Developed and executed hardware and functional quality assurance test plan for VPN, firewall, and wireless features on Symantec’s gateway products during hardware development phase and transferring to the manufacturing line. Managed multiple offshore hardware design and fabrication partners in Taiwan and Mexico during product development and deployment to successfully transfer each platform to manufacturing and test. Managed third-party EMC/EMI test resources to obtain FCC, CE, and VCCI compliance and certification on the SGS product line.
