This system facilitated the addition of new dealerships by vehicle make with a single code base allowing immediate feature updates across all dealerships.Ensured consistent online brand compliance with various automobile manufacturers, including Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Ford, and GM. Designed and Developed integration software between BPCS (Business Process Control System ERP) and Infinium Financials hosted on 10 IBM AS/400 servers (iSeries or Series I) for over 20 automotive manufacturing facilities in seven countries.Oversaw the management and compliance of shipping documentation for international markets including Spain, Germany, France, and Belgium, while implementing necessary modifications to BPCS using the AS/SET Case Tool for optimized Computer Aided System Engineering. Developed data marts for comprehensive financial reporting by harmonizing DB2/400 with Microsoft SQL Server, supporting SOX Compliance Reporting, State and Federal Reporting, and internal financial analysis. The project involved consolidating data from 8 production IBM iSeries servers into a unified SQL Server repository. Engineered and maintained interfaces between EDI, BPCS, and Infinium for efficient inventory and order management, ensuring precise inventory levels, accurate customer billing, and financial reporting. This task was accomplished by creating a three-way match between the Distribution, Billing, and Accounting databases.This system recovered over $30M in unbilled orders within the first three months by addressing data issues within the EDI system that previously led to failures in financial and billing system integration.This opportunity was one of the most rewarding of my career, and I was very disappointed when Collins & Aikman was dissolved.
